1996年11月我参观了首届珠海国际航展,参展的外国飞机只有俄罗斯的苏27和苏-30K各一架,作了精彩的飞行特技表演,使我大饱眼福,英国的金梦表演队也用低速飞机作了特技表演。参展的国产飞机有歼8Ⅱ,歼7Ⅱ,K-8,农-5等,强5停在机坪供游客参观,未升空表演。1998年11月15日我又专程到珠海参加第二届国际航展开幕式,虽然我领到了贵宾证,但进场车辆十分拥挤,等我乘的专用大客车挤进会场时,主席台上吴邦国副总理的开幕词已讲了一半。只能在台下找座位坐下,观看飞行表演。这几天珠海是阴霾天气,天空笼罩着厚厚的阴云和轻雾,加上众多车辆在泥土地面吹起了阵阵尘土,使能见度降到只有三、四公里左右,不能不使这次航展为之逊色。
In November 1996, I visited the first Zhuhai International Airshow. The only foreign planes exhibited were Russia’s Su-27 and Su-30K. I had a wonderful flying stunt show that made me feast for my eyes. The British Golden Dream team also used it. Low-speed aircraft made stunt performances. The domestic aircraft exhibited were J-8II, J7II, K-8, Nong-5, etc. The strong 5 was parked on the apron for tourists to visit and did not perform. On November 15th, 1998, I made a special trip to Zhuhai to attend the second international airport opening ceremony. Although I received the VIP badge, the arrival vehicles were very crowded. When I took a dedicated bus to enter the venue, I took it on the rostrum. The opening speech of Vice Premier Wu Bangguo has already been halfway. You can only sit down in the audience and watch an air show. These days, Zhuhai is a hazy and cloudy weather. The sky is covered with thick clouds and mist, and many vehicles have blown up dust on the mud land. This has reduced visibility to only three or four kilometers. Exhibition is inferior.
