《天下》月刊于1935年8月在上海创刊,第1至10卷为月刊,每年6、7月不出刊,全年10期;1940年11卷起至1941年12卷1期改为双月刊,共发行12卷,56期。1941年8、9月间由于太平洋战事而停刊。《天下》由南京中山文化教育馆资助创办,吴经熊任总编,温源宁任主编,林语堂、全增嘏任编辑,后来姚莘农(即姚克)、叶秋原也参与过编辑工作。《天下》
