1992年,是东方风来起潮涌之年。这一年,龙堂村这条巨龙在古颍河畔的临颍县杜曲乡腾空而起。 就是在这一年里,龙堂村成立了漯河市兴龙工贸公司,市委书记王有杰亲自来村为公司挂牌,给予支持和鼓励。1993年上半年,该村刚刚起步的14个企业创产值1257万元,实现利税88万元,产值和利税已超额完成年计划,分别比上年同期翻番还多。在漯河市村级排列中仅次于南街。龙堂村成了省、市新闻单位的聚焦点,龙堂响了。用龙堂村群众的话说:俺村的这条龙主要是有个好“龙头”。这龙头就是村党总支书记、公司总经理、省八届人大代表郭自安。
