1989年7月5日至15日,在沈阳隆重举行了首届东北地区话剧节。在这10天里,来自东北三省11个话剧团体在党的十三届四中全会精神的鼓舞下,团结拼搏,共赴盛会,使得久已干涸的话剧舞台新花竞绽,好戏连台。来自首都和全国40余省市的观摩来宾称赞首届东北话剧节“是一次高水平的剧坛盛会”。由中国话剧艺术研究会东北分会和《辽宁日报》《吉林日报》《黑龙江日报》联合举办的“首届东北话剧节”,获得了超出发起者和组织者预料的成功。曲终有尽,人将散去。我们将如何估价和评说这次话剧节?这是我们需要整理和沉淀的财富。
July 5, 1989 to 15, held in Shenyang, the first Northeast Drama District. During these 10 days, 11 drama groups from the three northeastern provinces, inspired by the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 13th CPC Central Committee, came together for a grand gathering in celebration of the long-awaited drama stage. Visitors from the capital and more than 40 provinces and cities nationwide praised the first Northeast Drama Festival “is a high-profile theater event.” The “First Northeast Drama Festival” jointly organized by the Northeast China Drama Research Society and the “Liaoning Daily”, “Jilin Daily” and “Heilongjiang Daily” has won the anticipated success beyond the sponsors and organizers.
