UNESCO has created a new monthly magazine called Sources, which is available on request for free. The creation of this publication was one of the steps taken by the Director-General of UNESCO, Federico Mayor, in an attempt to reform the institution. According to the editor of the journal, French journalist R. Le Fonter, “The Source” will be published in several languages and aims to “increase UNESCO’s transparency” and “make its message more widely available and disseminated.” The biochemist Meir reminded readers of Source that "life is like the edge of a rock: going beyond one step will fall into an abyss ... If I think our time is a particularly fortunate one, it is because we are convinced that it is shrinking, And hope is on the rise, and the less we dogmatism, the more confidence we have.
