王朔由于在写作风格上与杰克·凯鲁亚克有相似之处而被称为中国的“垮掉的一代”。本文通过比较二者的不同点,指出王朔只是新京味儿小说的代表,而并非“垮掉的一代”。
Wang Shuo was called “the beaten-down generation” of China because of its similarity to Jack Kerouac in writing style. By comparing the differences between the two, this paper points out that Wang Shuo is just a representative of Beijing novel, not a “beaten generation”.
