宜昌市地处北纬29°56′～31°34′,东经110°15′～112°04′,年平均气温16.9℃,最冷月(1月)的平均气温4.7℃,10℃以上积温5.376℃,年降水量1159mm。宜昌是我国重要的柑桔产区之一,是长江中下游水果开发带的重要基地,现有柑桔栽培面积35000hm。早在公元前270年,宜昌就有柑桔盛行的历史。近10年来.宜昌市柑桔区域化栽培的蓬勃发展,给广大柑农带来了丰厚的利润,
