目前全球正在紧锣密鼓地迎击禽流感。中国的态度和行动,不单将影响到13亿人口的生命,也将对世界产生重大影响。我们相信,经过SARS疫情考验后的中国,在防治禽流感这场全球化战斗中,一定会表现得更出色。国际合作被证明至关重要国际压力和国际义务,重新规定了重大流行病的国际政治内涵。在经济和疾病双重全球化下,如何在防治世界性的流行疾病中,扮演一个负责任大国的国际角色,是中国面临的新课题。
At present, the world is battling bird flu in full swing. China’s attitude and actions will not only affect the lives of 1.3 billion people, but also have a significant impact on the world. We believe China, after the SARS outbreak test, will certainly perform better in this global battle against bird flu. International cooperation proved to be crucial to international pressure and to international obligations and to the redefinition of the international political connotation of a major epidemic. Under the double globalization of economy and disease, how to play an international role as a responsible big country in the prevention and control of the world-wide epidemic is a new issue China faces.
