The instincts of dogs and “pro-xenophobia” coincide with the dualism of Christianity. The image of Doris Lessing’s many kinds of dogs reflects her complicated attitude towards criticism, affirmation and transcendence of western Christian civilization. This attitude is related to its intercultural experience. As an intercultural writer, Lessing criticized both the “fierce dog” and the dualistic opposition to Western civilization behind her from outside the bureaucracy as well as the essence of her loyal dog and love of Christian civilization, Simultaneously, “Good Dog ” written by Lessing goes beyond the boundary of dualism and helps all mankind to rebuild Eden. This way of salvation focusing on all mankind embodies Lessing’s global perspective .
