1985年日本国际科学技术博览会于3月17日在茨城县筑波科学城开幕,展期半年。这是在日本举行的第三次国际博览会。博览会的参加者除日本外,有中国、美国、苏联、英国、西德和法国等46个国家,世界经济合作和发展组织等国际机构37个,日本的民间企业28家,共计54个展馆,占地面积100公顷,经弗达6500亿日元,预计观众可达2000万人。整个会场分为 A、B、C……H 共8个区。H 区主要设施一些服务机构:
The 1985 Japan International Science and Technology Fair was opened on March 17th in Tsukuba Science City, Ibaraki Prefecture, with an exhibition period of six months. This is the third international fair held in Japan. In addition to Japan, there are 46 countries including China, the United States, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, West Germany and France, 37 international organizations such as the World Economic Cooperation and Development Organization, and 28 private enterprises in Japan with a total of 54 exhibition halls. It covers an area of 100 hectares and is worth 650 billion yen. It is estimated that there will be 20 million viewers. The entire venue is divided into 8 districts: A, B, C...H.
