留白是一切艺术的表现手法之一,是指在艺术创作中为了更充分地表现主题而有意识地留出“空白”。“空白”并非没有东西,而是在于求其空灵,是虚中求实。在语文教学中,小学语文的每篇课文都有简略处、省略处、概括处、延伸处,这些正是给学生训练的空间,是极好的留白。要抓住教材的简略处求展开,省略处求补充,概括处求具体,暗含处求明朗,延伸处求续编,对课文进行补充留白。合理运用留白,善用留白,可以取到意想不到的效果,提高课堂效率。
