According to foreign media reports, the study found that norovirus in coastal waters after rain, high levels of pathogens, the human body increased the risk of infection. The study analyzed the health data of 654 surfers over two years. According to the study, surfers in California were infected, mainly with norovirus-induced diarrhea and vomiting. According to expert analysis, Norovirus is caused by typical untreated sewage pollution. Heavy rains often result in overloading of sewage treatment plants, which discharge untreated wastewater into nearby rivers or the sea, posing a health risk to water-born swimmers. The study found that 30 surfers were killed on average 1,000 surfers going to sea in three days after heavy rains. In contrast these days
