50年前，在“雄纠纠，气昂昂……”的军威国威声中，英雄的中国人民志愿军跨过鸭绿江，与美帝国主义侵略者展开了浴血奋战，一直到 1956年把这只“纸老虎”彻底打服。这就是载入史册的伟大的中国人民抗美援朝、保家卫国斗争。当年 19岁的周昂就是中国人民志愿军中的一员。朝鲜战争结束后，他随部队回到祖国， 1976年转业到地方一直从事水利工作， 1991年离开工作岗位安度晚年。今年 10月 25日是抗美援朝 50周年纪念日。为了纪念这个有意义的日子，本刊编辑部特邀省水利厅工会原主席周昂写了这篇短文《忆战友张孝萃》。 ——编者
Fifty years ago, in the might of the mighty and mighty nations of “majestic rectification, high gas ...”, the heroic Chinese People’s Volunteers crossed the Yalu River and fought bloody battles with the US imperialist invaders until the “ Paper Tiger ”completely convinced. This is the great Chinese people’s anti- 19-year-old Zhou Ang is one of the Chinese People’s Volunteers. After the Korean War ended, he returned to the motherland with the troops. In 1976, he was transferred to the place where he had been engaged in water conservancy work. In 1991, he left his post to work in his later years. October 25 this year marks the 50th anniversary of the War to Resist U.S.Aid Korea. In commemoration of this meaningful day, our editorial department invited Zhou Ang, the former chairman of the provincial Department of Water Conservancy, to write the essay “Recalling Zhang Xiaochu from Friends of Comrades.” - Editor
