Do not disturb your kids drawing time. I went to a conservation school in western Massachusetts to observe the children’s day activities. A 4-year-old boy stands on the edge of an easel, dabs her paintbrush with colorful paint and paints on paper. I tried to discern exactly what he was drawing, but my efforts failed. Looking at his full-fledged look, I could not help asking him: “What are you drawing?” Teachers of childcare schools heard and quickly pulled me aside to criticize my guest from a strange country: “Please do not disturb children’s drawing!”
