我县位于湖南西南边境,经济基础和教育基础过去一直比较薄弱。1983年以来,我们坚持把提高教师队伍素质作为发展基础教育、兴学治校之本来抓,促使全县绝大多数小学教师的思想、文化和业务素质都有了一定的提高。现在,全县3153名小学教师中,具有中师或高中毕业学历的占75％,达到岗位合格的占90％以上。几年来,我们主要做了以下几项工作: 第一、调整、充实师资力量,改变教师队伍文化素质结构。我县原有小学民办教师1628人,占小学教师总数的51％。过去,在“左”的影响下,选拔民办教师只讲“政治面貌”,不看文化水平和业务能力,而
My county is located on the southwestern border of Hunan Province, and its economic base and education base have been relatively weak in the past. Since 1983, we have insisted on improving the quality of teaching staff as the basis for developing basic education and improving schools. This has led to the improvement of the ideological, cultural and professional qualities of the vast majority of primary school teachers in the entire county. Now, among the 3153 primary school teachers in the county, 75% have graduated from middle school or high school, accounting for more than 90% of qualified teachers.
