苹果抗寒育种是我国北部寒冷地区果树生产中急待解决的课题。到目前为止,国内外所育出的抗寒大苹果品种,综合性状均不理想,品质好的不耐贮藏,耐贮藏的品质较差。为了扩大优质苹果的栽植范围,提高其抗寒性,我们采用抗寒耐贮的酸苹果东光品种为母本,选抗寒性差优质大苹果富士等品种为父本,进行杂交,企图使其母本的抗寒耐贮基因与父本的优质基因相结合,培育出适于我国北部较寒冷地
