收到“中国美术馆五十年馆庆征文”信后,觉得我已在怀念张谔馆长的文章中谈过一些,也将我所藏的载有中国美术馆资料《建筑学报》捐献,且已获发表,似乎没有什么新的材料可写。为此又翻了一下老刊物,在1958年10月号的《美术》杂志上找到两篇文章,这可说是中国美术馆诞生前夜的记录,有文献价值,特复印另邮奉上,请予发表。同时又引起一些想法,写成此文,请予审阅。
