(一)1月26日,香港亚太卫星公司所有的“亚太二号”通信卫星在西昌卫星发射中心点火51秒后爆炸,星箭俱损。中国太平洋保险公司承保了此次卫星发射保险,保额1.6亿美元,折合人民币近14亿元。由于太保事先分保,只承担了3%的保险责任,出险后,该公司付出了480多万美元的保险赔款。3月17日,1.6亿美元赔款全都结清。(二)1994年11月30日,中国广播通信卫星公司所有的“东方红三号”卫星发射升空,由于卫星在三次变轨后燃料耗尽,不能正常定点投入使用。中国人民保险公司承保了该卫星的发射保险,保额为4亿元人民币。人保承保了98%的保险责任。出险后于今年3月31日赔付了3.92亿元人民币;中国平安保险公司承担了2%的保险责任,赔付800万元人民币。(三)中国平安保险公司承保船壳险的“沱海”轮1991年7月因碰撞而出险,平安今年结清赔付款1260万美元。
