水质与各类植物的生长有着密切的关系。水质较硬地区的水质软化是长期以来人们致力解决的问题。1987年以来,笔者从用以浇花的磁化水中获得启迪,自制了一个可以软化水质的双重磁化器(如图所示)。两年中,笔者用它对山茶、杜鹃等花卉做了试验,发现施用后枝条明显粗壮,叶片肥大、碧绿、光亮,花大色艳。而且,在扦插育苗中,如果用双磁软化水作基质浸透插穗或进行叶面喷洒,可加速伤口的愈合,促其提早生根,并能提高成活率。
