“Hala ”, “Mo Kun ” to fill - Tungus language borrowing, the previous Daur people have used “Ulus ”, “Bilgi ” and so on to express their social organization. “Hala ” can be translated into surnames, which may indicate the meaning of valleys and mountains. As the ancient hunting peoples all depended on certain mountains and rivers for their delineation of boundaries to engage in productive activities. “Qidan country Chi family name primitive” contains: “Khitan tribe no surname, but each of the place names call ”. The social organization structure of the northern hunting nation is generally the case, so “Hala ” should first be the concept of territory.
