[现状]近年来,社区侨务工作有了长足的发展,工作已初见成效。2002年国务院侨办在南京召开的全国侨务工作会议上,南京市鼓楼区华侨路街道、玄武区锁金村街道、苏州市沧浪区双塔街道等被评为“全国社区侨务工作示范单位”。不少社区已形成较为完善的工作网络,配有兼职干部与活动室,定期开展为侨服务,进行走访慰问、联谊等活动,还发动社区单位的青
[Status Quo] In recent years, the work of overseas Chinese affairs in the community has made great strides and the work has achieved initial success. In 2002, the Qiaoban Office of the State Council held a conference on national overseas Chinese affairs in Nanjing. The streets of Huaqiao Road in Gulou District of Nanjing, Sukinakura Street of Xuanwu District, Shuangta Street of Canglang District of Suzhou City were rated as “Demonstration Units of Overseas Chinese Affairs in National Communities” ". Many communities have formed a fairly complete network of work with part-time cadres and activity rooms, regularly conducted overseas Chinese service, visits to condolences and fellowships, and also launched greening of community units
