日本东芝公司研制出一种使用者可在彩色液晶显示屏幕上看到对方同时进行交谈的电话。声音和图象信息分别在64kbps 数字线上传输。通过使用软件,该电视电话可高分辨地显示出人脸部位,在屏幕上投射出的脸部密度为其他部位的四倍。图象以每秒5—10帧的速度构成。其他特征包括:以静止图象模式传送文件或照片,接收电视广播,非手持电话通话,以及从电话装置传送脸部以外图象的 CCD 摄象机的简易操作。(美刊《TechnologyUpdate》,1989年11月13日,Vol.45,No.46)
Toshiba Japan has developed a user on the color LCD screen to see each other while talking on the phone. Sound and image information are transmitted on 64kbps digital lines. Through the use of software, the videophone can display human face parts with high resolution, and projected four times more faces on the screen than other parts. The image is composed of 5-10 frames per second. Other features include: easy operation of a CCD camera for transferring files or photos in still image mode, receiving television broadcasts, hands-free phone conversations, and sending images outside the face from the telephony device.
