A method of fractal dimensioning partial discharge signal based on wavelet analysis and fractal is proposed. Different partial discharge signals have different fractal dimensions. Therefore, the fractal dimension can be used to identify partial discharge signals in order to process partial discharge signals. Experiments show that this method can accurately identify the acoustic signals and find out the corresponding relationship of acoustic signals , Improve the accuracy of fault location
