海明威以其杰出的文学艺术成就与精辟简洁、内涵深厚的艺术风格闻名于世。他的作品采用特殊的叙事方式,为我们构建了一个个变幻无穷且无比绚丽的小说世界,他是当之无愧的叙事艺术大师。海明威作品的叙事要素包括叙事人称、叙事时间、叙事聚焦和叙事方式,这四个叙事要素在小说里的应用既表现为相互交织又呈现不断变换的状态。本文通过对海明威作品叙述的人称、时间、聚焦和方式这四个叙述要素进行具体的分析解读,以便更多读者了解一代“叙事艺术大师”海明威作品的叙事特点。
Hemingway is famous for its outstanding literary and artistic achievements and its incisive and concise artistic connotation. His works use a special way of narration, for us to build a world of fiction and incomparably magnificent novel, he is a well-deserved master of narrative art. The narrative elements of Hemingway ’s works include narrative person, narrative time, narrative focus and narrative mode. The application of these four narrative elements in the novel is not only manifested as interweaving and changing state. This article analyzes and interprets the four narrative elements of person, time, focus and manner of Ernest Hemingway ’s work narration so that more readers can understand the narrative features of the “Master of Narrative Art” Hemingway’ s works.
