The newly developed direct data numerology was used to estimate the undiscovered uranium resource in the Westwater Canyon section of the Morrison Formation in the San Juan Basin, New Mexico. The basic geologic information is taken from 1800 geophysical logs, fragment samples from 40 pilot wells and data from 40 surveyed sections. Using these data, the favorableness of uranium enrichment in each of the 2068 units in the basin was evaluated. Benefit is based on the similarity between the geological features in each unit and the geological features of the five deposit models. An estimate of the amount of resources not yet found in each unit is based on the type of deposit, depth, boundary grade and resource area. Estimates of undiscovered uranium resources in the Westwater Canyon section are 2.6 × 10 ~ 6t U_3O_8 with an estimation error of 0.25 × 10 ~ 6t U_3O_8. The estimated value is about twice the value obtained by the U.S. Department of Energy in the NURE project (Uranium Resource Assessment). The total value of uranium resources is estimated at 3.5 × 10 ~ 6 t U_3O_8, including the amount of resources discovered and the amount of resources not yet discovered.
