随着时代的发展,高职院校的一般用途英语教学已逐渐显现颓势,并逐步向专业用途英语(English for Special Propose,简称ESP)教学发展。但高职院校的ESP教学依然不尽如人意。随着当前社会的信息化、网络化技术的飞速发展,在语料库驱动下的ESP教学模式成为了新型的、有发展潜力的教学模式。本文从语料库对ESP教材编纂、课堂模式改革以及对ESP教师转型三个方面入手提出了合理化建议,并进一步提出了高职院校在利用语料库进行ESP教学时需注意到的问题。
With the development of the times, the general-purpose English teaching in higher vocational colleges has been gradually declining, and gradually to English for Special Propose (ESP) teaching development. However, ESP teaching in higher vocational colleges is still not satisfactory. With the rapid development of information technology and network technology in the current society, the ESP teaching mode driven by the corpora has become a new teaching model with potential for development. This article puts forward reasonable suggestions from the following three aspects: the compilation of ESP textbooks, the reform of classroom modes and the transformation of ESP teachers in corpus, and further points out the problems that should be noticed when using corpus for ESP teaching in higher vocational colleges.
