“到阳光下、到操场上、到大自然中去”陶冶身心,这是全国教育科学“九五”规划重点课题的子课题《素质教育与学校体育模式》课题组向中小学生提出的新的号召。2000年7月29日来自北京、天津、山东、四川、湖北、陕西等八个省两个市33所实验学校近280名师生和主管体育的行政领导欢聚在陕西渭南市中心广场,举行了隆重的开营仪式。总课组组长原国家教委体卫艺司副司长曲宗湖教授、陕西省教委副主任陈敏钰以及渭南市的主管领导参加了开营仪式。
