Objective: To investigate the coexistence of cardiovascular risk factors in normal high blood pressure pilots. Methods Nine hundred and ninety-nine non-hypertensive pilots were selected. According to the blood pressure level, they were divided into normal blood pressure group (n = 401) and normal high blood pressure group (n = 593). The general conditions of age, height, body weight, smoking, abdominal circumference and machine type, flight time and post were compared between the two groups. The levels of serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL), blood uric acid (UA) and blood glucose (BG) levels. Results: The proportion of normal high blood pressure of pilots> 40 years old was significantly higher than that of pilots <30 years old and 30 ~ 40 years old (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the normal high blood pressure among pilots in different positions (P> 0.05). The proportion of normal high value blood pressure of trainer pilots was significantly higher than that of J-flight pilots (P <0.05), but the difference was not significant among the other models (P> 0.05). However, after adjusting for age, The risk of normal high blood pressure had no significant correlation (P> 0.05). The levels of body mass index, abdominal circumference, BG, TG, and flight time in normal high blood pressure group were significantly or very significantly higher than those in normal blood pressure group (P <0.05, P <0.01). The levels of UA, TC, LDL and HDL in both groups were significantly different Not significant (P> 0.05). Conclusion: The detection rate of normal high blood pressure of pilots is high, and there are many risk factors of cardiovascular disease. The intervention of risk factors in this population should be emphasized.
