The system of trial criminal law in the Song Dynasty is a kind of legal knowledge test that is directed to the officials of judicial departments. It has strict requirements on the qualifications of reference personnel and strict measures to prevent cheating. The establishment and operation of the trial criminal law system in Song Dynasty is one of the concrete manifestation of the development of ancient legal system and also has reference value to the construction of contemporary legal system.
