汝阳县小店铁厂(以下简称铁厂)原为洛阳地区钢铁厂,创建于1969年,1970年开始出铁,1980年下马,十年时间,共生产生铁十一万三千柒百余吨,亏损2884.13万元,十年平均吨成本约377元。笔者最近由于工作关系,同铁厂的留守人员、县里有关领导做了几次接触,两次粗略考查了铁厂现有的厂房、设备、料场、矿石,查阅了少量的铁厂原始资料。从这种角度来讲,分析该厂可否恢复生产无疑是非常困难的。再则,以本人的阅历和学识,来讨论这样一个牵扯面较广的综合性问题,确有些不自量力,但我还是乐意把看法写出
