中国自古就有“以茶治病”的历史。古代民间采用老茶治疗糖尿病、痢疾、伤风等的记载甚多。现代医学认为:茶中的多酚类、茶多糖类、茶皂素类、氨基酸生物碱类和无机元素都对人体具有保健功能。茶是一种能增强人体免疫力、抗氧化衰老、抗癌变、降血脂、调节新陈代谢的特殊饮料,所以被世界茶学界、医学界公认为21世纪的健康饮料,位于世界六大健康饮料之首。
