两季结果的板栗是浙江省开化县特产局选育出的板栗新品种。它具有一年开两季花、结两季果的特点。第一季盛花期为5月下旬至6月上旬,第二季为7月上中旬,成熟期第一季9月上中旬,第二季为10月中下旬,而且外形大,质糯味甜,结果早。最大单果重为33.5克,当年种植或当年高接,当年就结果,比其它板栗良种产量可提高50％以上。我们在上级领导和部门的大力支持下,现已建立试验园和示范园1000余亩,繁育苗木10万株,为发展“一优两高”农业迈开了可喜的一步。
