长期以来,人们一直对作为扑灭巷道火灾方法之一的泡沫灭火法在进行研究.但是,这些研究主要着眼于发泡技术和泡沫在巷道内的流动技术,而对于灭火效果的实验性研究却很少.虽然,我们曾在大型巷道中进行过火灾的灭火实验,但实验中只是使用了20米长的燃烧坑木带,故对于泡沫扑灭大型火灾的灭火效果尚不能进行充分评价.对此,在煤炭技术研究所等单位的协作之下,于400米的试验巷道内,设置了60米坑木带使其燃烧,用高倍泡沫进行灭火实验.现将实验概况介绍如下.
