北大公布实施方案之时,现实尴尬即已产生。对被推荐者的要求,未有细致说明,仅以“综合素质优秀或者有明显特长者”概括。两者属并列选择关系,但“弃后者就前者”成为常态。目前进入各学校范围公示的被推荐者无一例外是所谓的“综合素质优秀”者,而更鲜明的特征是成绩优异——“来年都有成为状元的可能”。个个都是尖子生,科科成绩均优异,成为被推荐学生的集体特色。“我们学校没有偏才怪才,学生都是素质教育培养出来的、全面发展的优秀人才。”面对公众质疑为何没有一名偏才怪才出现在公示名单里,几乎所有的学校都给出了类似解释。校长普遍反映所辖学校没有偏才、怪才,都是综合素质优秀的学生,现实果真如此?如若真是这样,那么是什么原因导致目前中国的中学没有偏才、怪才?一个只能培养出综合素质优秀的学生的教育制度,正常吗?
