The Mathematical Curriculum Standard (2011 Edition) states that mathematics teaching materials provide learning topics, basic clues and knowledge structure for students’ mathematics learning activities, and are important resources for implementing mathematics curriculum objectives and implementing mathematics teaching. The materials we choose to use for the present study are related to the students ’realities in life, the reality of mathematics, and the reality of other disciplines, all of which help to deepen students’ understanding of the mathematics of what they have learned. The materials presented to the students should be realistic, meaningful and challenging, and these contents should be conducive to students’ initiative to observe, experiment, guess and test
