目的了解西藏教师吸烟现状,并探讨其主要的影响因素,为在学校开展青少年控烟及创建无烟学校奠定基础。方法 2008年9月按照多阶段简单随机抽样的方法选取拉萨市、日喀则地区、山南地区22所学校的695名教师,进行一对一结构式问卷调查。结果教师总吸烟率为29.60%,现在吸烟率25.70%,男女吸烟率差异有统计学意义(χ2=294.6,P<0.001)。26.60%的教师获得过烟草危害知识方面的教材或资料,7.30%的教师接受过关于预防青少年吸烟的培训。经Logistic回归分析,性别、烟草危害知识得分为教师吸烟的影响因素。结论教师人群吸烟率较高,烟草相关知识掌握相对不足,控烟相关教学活动的教材较少。积极开发学校控烟材料,加强教师控烟知识的健康教育和技能的培训是开展学校控烟活动的基础。
Objective To understand the smoking status of teachers in Tibet and to explore the main influencing factors of smoking among teachers in Tibet, so as to lay the foundation for tobacco control among youth and the establishment of smoke-free schools in schools. Methods In September 2008, 695 teachers from 22 schools in Lhasa, Shigatse and Shannan counties were selected according to a multi-stage simple random sampling method to conduct a one-to-one structural questionnaire. Results The total smoking rate of teachers was 29.60%, and the current smoking rate was 25.70%. There was significant difference between male and female smoking rates (χ2 = 294.6, P <0.001). 26.60% of teachers have obtained teaching materials or materials on knowledge of tobacco hazards, and 7.30% of teachers have received training on prevention of youth smoking. Logistic regression analysis showed that gender and tobacco hazard knowledge scores were the influencing factors of teacher smoking. Conclusions Higher smoking prevalence among teachers, relative lack of relevant knowledge of tobacco, and less teaching materials related to tobacco control activities. The active development of school-based tobacco control materials and the strengthening of teachers’ knowledge of tobacco control in health education and skills training are the foundation for tobacco control activities in schools.
