几年来,在各级党组织的领导下,在各级农业技术部门的积极协助下,石油助长剂在我省淄博、昌潍、临沂、烟台、济宁、泰安等27个县,进行了广泛的试验。总的使用面积达到500多万亩。1973年达到170多万亩,试点191个,在小麦、大豆、花生、甘薯、高粱、玉米、谷子、水稻、蔬菜等作物上试验平均增产一成多。由于石油助长剂使用方便,价格便宜,受到广大贫下中农的欢迎。正如贫下中农所说:“石油助长剂真正好,价格低,增产高,是发展农业生产的好门道。”最近在淄博市科委的主持下,召开了石油助长剂科研座谈会。会议一致认为石油助长荆是一种优良的生长刺激素,推广使用石油助长剂对于农业的发展具有重要意义。
