首次“新剧本朗读会”4月17日、18日在上海锦江小礼堂举行。上海戏剧界、新闻界、各大专院校的话剧研究学者、爱好者200多人聚集一堂,共同欣赏六部新剧本(片断)的朗读。没有舞台,没有布景,但观众们领略到话剧艺术的一种新形式的独特魅力。朋友们相聚时的第一句话便是:“好久没有这样舒畅的艺术享受了。”这次活动由剧协上海分会携手文化局创作中心、艺术研究所共同举办。剧协上海分会主席杜宣同志热情地称赞道:剧本朗读会是我梦寐几十年的愿望,没想到今天成功了!它对上海的话剧创作走出低谷,将会起到很好的推动作用。刘厚生同志也在百忙中赶来观看
The first “new script reading club” April 17, 18, held in Shanghai Jinjiang Hall. More than 200 scholars, fans of drama in Shanghai drama circles, the press, and universities and colleges gathered together to enjoy the reading of six new scripts (clips).
