在推进基础教育课程改革的进程中,各地都十分重视艺术教育,认识到艺术教育中所具有的独特作用和优势是其他学科所不可替代的。世界许多国家和地区的美术教育正在积极进行改革。新课程提出新的教学理念,力图改变传统教育中的教师的教和学生的学,在教学中以学生为主导地位,传统教育中的教师角色变了。在新课程的环境中,教师和学生将共同营造新的课堂,参与课程改革的教师将在新课程中实现自身的发展,与新课程一起成长,为此,我们应在以下这几个方面作出调整。
