In recent years, the Central Propaganda Department actively promoted typical publicity, hot guidance and public opinion supervision, and the intensity of public opinion supervision was significantly enhanced. This basic trend accords with the basic national conditions of our country at the primary stage of socialism and is consistent with the laws governing the press on socialism with Chinese characteristics.
