Pan Yiyang Party Committee Member of Inner Mongolia in Suspected Law Violation

  On September 17, Central Discipline Inspection Commission announced on its website that Pan Yiyang, Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is under investigation for suspected law and discipline violation. Pan Yiyang is the fourth candidate member of the CPC Central Committee that gets investigated since the 18th CPC National Congress.
  Pan Yiyang, 53 years old, started his political career in Guangdong Province and was transferred to Jiangxi Province in 2001. In October 2010, Pan Yiyang was appointed as the Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and has been staying in the position since then. He also held a concurrent post as the head of Inner Mongolia Administration College.
  In September, the Discipline Inspection Commission of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region unveiled several law and discipline violation cases in local financial sector. Wang Zhenkun, Chairman of Inner Mongolia Financial Investment Group, and Wu Wenyuan, Director of Inner Mongolia Rural Credit Cooperatives, are under investigated currently for suspected serious law and discipline violation. For the first three years working in Inner Mongolia, Pan Yiyang was put in charge of financial sector. Even after the division re-adjustment inside the autonomous government in 2014, he was still the key person of the local public economic management.
