河北著名画家李禾,诗书画印兼备,花鸟鱼虫皆能,尤擅画荷。荷花,号称水上仙子,出淤泥而不染,濯清涟而不妖。荷茎亭亭玉立,荷苞艳如美人。春萌,夏茂,秋枯,冬残,四季各有特色,皆可入画。李禾的画是取夏秋之交的荷花,荣枯兼备,别有风韵。我曾多次看李禾画荷。有了总体布局之后,他往往先画荷叶一二片,大笔涂抹,水墨淋漓,利用水墨之漬痕巧妙地勾写叶茎。趁荷叶将干未干之时,再以中锋画荷之茎杆,笔墨浸润并见笔触,柔毫铺面,硬毫勾筋。因而,细腻传神又
