在一个被牧羊人废弃的货仓里,梁上倒挂着一把撑开的雨伞。一对鸽子见了,把它当作巢,在伞里生蛋,孵出了小鸽子。小鸽子长大,学飞,倦了回巢,休息够了,又学飞。有一天,鸽爸爸对小鸽子说:“你学会了飞,可以出去看世界了。”小鸽子飞得很远很远,忽然下雨,它看见地面上有很多雨伞,都是倒转的,它害怕了,以为是自己倒转了,于是转身,背向下面的雨伞,没料到身体失去平衡,掉在伞上,再摔在地上,动弹不了……然后鸽子的弟妹相继学飞,在雨天都回不了巢。
