就现代形态的中国美术史研究而言,学术界普遍认为滕固 是第一人,并把他视为中国现代美术史学的奠基人。[1]滕固 提出了美术史的研究应从“艺术家本位的历史演变为艺术作品 本位的历史”的主张,并强调对美术作品风格因素分析的治学 方法,这些见解和做法已经成为中国美术史学现代转型的重要 基石。但是,长期以来人们对滕固在美术考古学上的成就却很 少论及。这种无意或有意的忽视,不仅使滕固在近现代学术史 上的地位难以得到恰如其分的评价,而且也模糊了中国美术考 古学学科发展的路线
As far as modern art history research in China is concerned, academics generally consider Teng Gu as the first person and regard him as the founder of Chinese modern art historiography.
