1.大家知道考验芳香族有机物质结构理论的许多难题。例如籍助于开苦奈的苯核模型,不能解释苯的衍生物中并不存在着两个邻位异构体,不能解释在稠环芳香族化合物的核中,单、双键的合理分布等等。这些困难将有机化学家引向另一极端,即放弃用价线来准确地表示结构式的企图。在所有的教本和科学文献中,人们开始用简单的,不表明单、双键的位置的六角形来表示苯核.这种键的“平等化”,等于承认在苯核中碳原子间祗有一种类型的——介於单、双键之间的键。
