一、问题的提出和研究目的阳泉四矿的丈八煤层厚7.0米,倾角5°左右,应用分层法开采。最初系分为三层,先采上层,再依次采中层和下层,层间铺放假顶。后因假顶材料缺乏,因此,该矿曾试用只回采上、下两层而中间层留作为煤皮的方法。鉴于上述两种方法均有其缺点存在,采煤方法教研组和阳泉四矿现在正进行着对该煤层采煤方法改进问题的研究;并结合这一研究工作,拟对我国其它矿区的缓斜厚煤层提出新的有效的开采方法。
