9月7日发生在云贵交界处的5.7级地震,造成贵州省威宁自治县云贵、石门等19个乡镇和赫章县财神、德卓等13个乡镇69736人受灾,因灾受伤2人,紧急转移安置27497人,倒塌民房36户88间,严重损坏民房1562户2415间,给当地群众的生产生活造成很大影响。威宁地震灾区地处高海拔、高寒地区,是少数民族聚居区和乌蒙集中连片特困地区。省委书记、省长赵克志十分关心受灾群众的生活,9月10日至11日,赵克志赴威宁自治县、赫章县指导抗震救灾和灾后重建工作,了解房屋倒塌、道路、水电等基础设施损毁情况,详细询问人民群众生活、救灾物资发放、学校复课进展等情况。
On Sept. 7, a 5.7-magnitude earthquake at the junction of Yunnan and Guizhou resulted in 69,736 people being injured in 19 towns and townships such as Yungui and Shihmen in Weining Autonomous County of Guizhou Province and 13 towns and villages in Fortuna and Dezhu of Hezhang County. Two people were injured in the disaster and were in urgent need of emergency. 27,497 people were transferred and resettled, 36 households and 88 collapsed houses were destroyed, which seriously damaged the 1515 households and 2415 houses, which greatly affected the production and living of local people. Weining earthquake-stricken areas are located in high altitude, alpine region, is a concentrated area of ethnic minorities and Wumeng congested areas. Zhao Kezhi, secretary of the provincial party committee and governor, paid great attention to the lives of the affected people. From September 10 to 11, Zhao Kezhi went to Weining Autonomous County and Hezhang County to guide earthquake relief and post-disaster reconstruction work and to understand the basis of housing collapse, roads, hydropower, etc. Facilities damage situation, asked in detail about the people’s life, disaster relief supplies, school class progress and so on.
