近年来,随着高校英语教学改革的深入进展,高校英语教师发展状况也日渐受到了关注。教育部高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会英语组分别于2001、2008年组织了两次全国性的大学英语教学与教师情况调查。中国外语教育研究中心于2001年启动中国高校英语教师教育与发展模式的研究。这些调查和研究较为全面地反映了我国高校英语教学与教师的总体发展情况,经过近十年的英语教学改革,高校英语在课程设置、教学模式构建、教学评估和师资队伍建设等方面都取得了长足进步,但高校英语教师自身发展仍存在诸多不尽人意之处。其中最为突出的就是高校英语教师的知识结构重组、知识更新问题。
In recent years, with the further progress of college English teaching reform, the development of college English teachers has also received increasing attention.
