高速公路中心试验室是每条高速公路项目建设之初,业主通过招标或委托设立的第三方临时工地试验室。在业主的授权范围内,协助业主或总监办履行高速公路项目试验检测的管理工作。其服务范围包括了施工阶段各个工程项目及其变更增加工程量的相关试验检测工作,主要是对承包人标准试验进行复核验证(对比试验),以肯定、否定或调整承包人标准试验的参数及指标,从而控制工程施工过程的质量等。高速公路中心试验室是施工阶段质量保证体系中最基础、最关键的环节,是对工程质量检测及控制的主要管理部门,承担着控制工程质量的重要任务。
