澳门理工学院体育暨运动高等学校创立于1993年,是澳门特别行政区惟一一所体育高等院校,一直致力培养高等体育专业人才,为澳门体育事业作出了重要贡献。 体校位于望厦综合体育馆,由主行政大楼、大礼堂、电化教室、图书馆、体育馆、计算机室和实验室(运动生物力学、运动生物化学、运动生理及医学实验室)组成。 在师资方面,体校除拥有一支由本地全职及兼职教师组成的队伍外,还经常邀请内地以及国外著名体育大学的教授来澳授课。在体育科研方面,教师积极进行科学研究工作,并在各种学术会议及刊物上发表论文及研究成果。同时,作为一所公立的教育机构,体校积极与政府其他部门合作进行调查研究,以便为政府制定相关政策提供科学依据。另外
Founded in 1993, Macau Polytechnic Institute of Physical Education and Sports is the only PE institution in the Macao Special Administrative Region. It has been devoting itself to cultivating advanced physical education professionals and has made important contributions to the development of the sport in Macao. The Gymnasium is located at Wangxia Gymnasium and consists of the main administration building, auditorium, classrooms, libraries, gyms, computer rooms and laboratories (sports biomechanics, sports biochemistry, sports physiology and medical laboratories).
